Project Director
Sufyan Durrani
I am honored to share the latest updates and progress of the Balochistan Water Resources Development Sector Project (BWRDSP). This initiative represents a significant step towards enhancing the management of water resources in our province, ensuring that our communities have access to sustainable and reliable water supplies.
The BWRDSP focuses on the construction of key, feasible, well planned and designed structures on the Zhob and Mula River basins in Balochistan. These structures are crucial for improving water distribution, mitigating flood risks, and supporting agricultural activities. Our goal is to create a water management system that is resilient, efficient, and adaptable to the challenges posed by climate change.
The project team, in collaboration with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and other key stakeholders, is dedicated to delivering detailed engineering designs that are technically robust, economically viable, environmentally sustainable, and socially inclusive. We are committed to adhering to the highest standards of quality and efficiency throughout the project’s implementation.
I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the staff of Project Management Office (PMO), Project Implementation Office (PIO), Project Consultants (NESPAK-RHC-EGC-AAS) and all involved stakeholders for their unwavering dedication and hard work. Your efforts are vital in driving this project towards successful completion.
As we move forward, I encourage all stakeholders to remain actively engaged and supportive. Together, we can achieve the project’s goals and contribute to the sustainable development of Balochistan’s water resources.
Thank you for your continued support and collaboration.
